Western Michigan softball took on Northern Illinois on Thursday in a win-or-go home 2019 MAC tournament contest. The Broncos would drop the game —getting mercied in the fifth inning, suffering another shutout 8-0.

Reily Galloway started on the mound for the Broncos and Mackenzie Bryan started for the Huskies. Galloway only pitched two innings allowing three earned runs on four hits. Bryan pitched a gem for the Huskies, throwing in all five innings only allowing three hits and no runs.

Brooke Wyman, Mackenzie Swinehart, and Erin Barg were the only Broncos to get on base with a hit.
