WMU true freshman quarterback Reece Goddard relieved Jon Wassink at the end of the third quarter, and after handing it off to his running backs on his first three plays, the Missouri native lost a fumble that Wagner recovered on the Broncos 28-yard line.

Two plays later, Wagner running back Ryan Fulse scored his team’s second touchdown on an 8-yard touchdown scamper.

Wassink finished the game 11 of 12 for 165 yards and three touchdowns, with Dee Eskridge's two catches and 92 yards providing the big-play target.

Jamauri Bogan (132 yards) and Jarvion Franklin (111) both eclipsed the century mark running the ball.
