KALAMAZOO, MI - Western Michigan will play one of four nonconference football games against Notre Dame in 2020, the university announced Thursday.
The meeting will take place Saturday, Sept. 19 at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana.
The future Week 3 matchup is the first confirmed nonconference opponent for the Broncos' 2020 schedule, and kickoff time and broadcast details will be announced in the fall of that season.
WMU will receive a $1.175 million payout from Notre Dame for the contest.
