KALAMAZOO, Mich. - In its final tune-up before the start of the 2025-26 regular season next week, the Western Michigan men's basketball team knocked off Kalamazoo College, 80-39.
The Broncos came out hot, scoring the first 15 points of the game in the opening five minutes. Kalamazoo whittled the margin down to single-digits at 25-16 just past the halfway mark of the period. WMU countered with 11 in a row as part of a 19-5 surge to give the hosts a 44-21 advantage heading into the break.
Western Michigan started the second half in similar fashion to the first, tallying the period's first 12 points to increase the cushion to 56-21.
