KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan University baseball and head coach Billy Gernon announced the program's 2023 schedule on Monday. WMU is set for 19 home contests at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field, with five MAC weekends and non-conference midweek games against Michigan State, IU South Bend, Eastern Michigan and Valparaiso on the docket.
As has been a constant under coach Gernon, the Broncos have built a challenging non-conference schedule, which includes 10 games against teams from Power Five conferences. Among its non-conference opponents are preseason number one LSU, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame.
