Watch WMU's 300-pound defensive coach crowd surf over players after win

KALAMAZOO, MI - The locker room celebration following Western Michigan football's 28-21 upset win Tuesday over Northern Illinois carried through the concrete walls supporting the team's Bill Brown Alumni Football Center.

The win over NIU (7-5, 6-2 MAC) not only snapped a three-game losing streak, it provided the team's 10 seniors with a victory in their final regular-season contest and secured a bowl bid.

Senior center John Keenoy summed it up best in the post-game press conference, smiling ear-to-ear and saying, "I think it means everything for us," but the excitement wasn't contained to players only.
