KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Western Michigan football team is in the midst of preparing for its Bahamas Bowl game against Middle Tennessee State on Christmas Eve, but head coach P.J. Fleck tried to take the edge off Thursday morning.
The third-year coach brought a dunk tank in to the Seelye Center and gave players a chance to call out whoever they wanted to sit up on the dreaded seat above the water.
Some assistant coaches and staff members took the plunge while others were spared.
Fleck took the plunge without any players sneaking in and physically pushing the trigger.
