Wassink leaves game, does not return in 51-24 loss to Toledo

Last night the Western Michigan Broncos fell short against MAC West opponent Toledo Rockets losing 51-24 in a sub par performance.

Western Michigan took their first conference loss against the defending MAC champions on Thursday night and now has work to do in order to punch a ticket to the MAC championship game.

The Broncos also suffered a key loss as their starting quarterback Jon Wassink left early in the game with an injury to his foot. Wassink’s status is unknown, but head coach Tim Lester did mention Wassink would be unlikely to be ready to go on Nov.
