CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan volleyball team swept the weekly Mid-American Conference awards on Monday. Senior middle blocker Sydney LeMay was named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week, while sophomore libero Kathleen Reilly earned her third-straight MAC West Defensive Player of the Week honors.
LeMay averaged 3.62 kills on the weekend as the Broncos took down both the defending MAC West and East Champions. Against Northern Illinois she led the team with a season-high 18 kills and had a career-high six solo blocks to account for 26.0 total points in the 3-1 win.
