CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its Academic All-Conference honors on Tuesday with five Western Michigan volleyball student-athletes earning the academic recognition.
Charley Andrews, Rachel Bontrager, Maggie King, Meredith Phillips and Cassandra Smigiel earned Academic All-MAC honors, marking the eighth year in a row Western Michigan volleyball has had at least three Academic All-MAC honorees. The five student-athletes is the most for WMU since having six back in 2018.
Under head coach Colleen Munson, the Broncos have had 53 Academic All-MAC selections to go along with five CoSIDA Academic All-District and one CoSIDA Academic All-American.
