MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Western Michigan volleyball team suffered its second loss of the weekend, falling at Mid-American Conference rival Central Michigan on Saturday night, 3-0 (19-25, 23-25, 22-25).
Senior Sydney LeMay and sophomore Quiana Ware each had 11 kills to lead the team. The Broncos (14-11, 7-7 MAC) improved on their hitting percentage from the loss at Eastern Michigan, hitting .222 against the Chippewas. Sophomore libero Kathleen Reilly led WMU with 15 digs, while junior setter Mary Murphy had 30 assists.
CMU opened the first set with a 4-0 run.
