KALAMAZOO, Mich. – On Wednesday Western Michigan volleyball head coach Colleen Munson announced the addition of Barakat Adekola to the 2020 recruiting class.
Adekola joins the 2020 Bronco volleyball recruiting class consisting of Mairead Boyle (Palos Heights, Ill.), Logan Case (Maineville, Ohio), Andelyn Smikins (Schoolcraft, Mich.) and Abi Wilcoxson (Spring Arbor, Mich.)
At East Aurora High School Adekola was an outside and middle hitter for the Tomcats and earned All-Conference and All-Area honorable mention honors. Adekola is a three-sport athlete at East Aurora, competing in volleyball, basketball and track & field.
Adekola is the daughter of Isimaila and Rianat Adekola and has two older siblings Suliyat and Nafisat.
