I am bringing this up simply because of what happened following the NCAA basketball Division I Tournament Championship, which the Villanova University Wildcats were victorious. Red-shirt sophomore Donte DiVincenzo scored a record-breaking 31 points in the championship game, shocking the world of basketball with his athletic ability and basketball IQ, and to add to that, he wasn’t even part of the starting five.
Following the game, Twitter did its thing, and found a tweet of DiVincenzo quoting song lyrics, “Ballin on these *expletive* like I’m Derrick Rose.” He said that along with other crude and even homophobic statements.
