VanTilburg Throws Shutout As Broncos Earn DH Split

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Western Michigan bounced back from a 6-4 loss in game one of Saturday's doubleheader with a 2-0 over Ohio in game two. The Bobcats took this weekend's Mid-American Conference series two game to one, also picking up a win on Friday afternoon.

WMU and Ohio were tied 3-3 through four innings in game one before the Bobcats pulled ahead for good on a three-run home run by Morgan Geno in the fifth. The Broncos had the winning run at the plate and runners on second and third in the bottom of the seventh but two WMU strikeouts ended the game.
