The stage is now set for the championships of the US Curling Nationals.
On Friday, the quarterfinals and finals of the Nationals featured some very close matchups that came down to the wire.
Men’s Playoffs
In the men’s quarterfinals, Team John Shuster continued his dominance of Team Rich Ruohonen, defeating them in seven ends, 8-3. Shuster scored three in the second, two in the fourth, stole one in the fifth, and scored two in the seventh to force a concession from Ruohonen. Shuster moved straight to the finals with the victory.
