CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan football team swept the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week Awards after defeating Miami, 16-10, on Saturday. Junior running back Sean Tyler was named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week, senior linebacker Corvin Moment was named MAC West Defensive Player of the Week, and true-freshman kicker Palmer Domschke earned MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Tyler, who earns the award for the second time this season, carried the offensive load for the Broncos on Saturday. He had a season-high 22 carries and a season-high 110 yards on the ground.
