KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan men's basketball had just 12 turnovers on the night but Buffalo was able to score 19 points off those turnovers as the Bulls defeated the Broncos, 84-74 inside University Arena on Friday night in front of a national television audience.
Despite the loss, Western Michigan had five score in double figures for the second time during Mid-American Conference play. The Broncos drop to 11-8 overall and 3-3 in MAC play and look to snap a two-game losing streak on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at home against MAC West leader Toledo.
Five scored in double figures for the Broncos, led by senior Thomas Wilder and junior Josh Davis each recording 16 points.
