HOUSTON, Texas – The Western Michigan track and field team wrapped up the 37th annual Victor Lopez Classic on Saturday night.
Senior Sarah Anderson continued her strong season, finishing in first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:09.65. Anderson also finished in fifth place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.46 seconds.
The Broncos had good performances in the short sprints as well. Madison Meredith kicked off her outdoor season with a fourth place finish in the 200-meter dash after running a time of 24.59 seconds.
