LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Western Michigan track and field team wrapped up the regular season, traveling to the Toledo Collegiate Invitational and the Kentucky Relays over the weekend.
Overt in Toledo, freshman thrower Abena Atuobi had the highest finish among any Bronco thrower, taking fifth overall in the shot put with a distance of 43' 0.50" (13.12 meters). Senior Savannah Dugan made the top eight, taking eighth place with a distance of 42' 2.25" (12.86m).
Senior Claire Gilbert finished in sixth place in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:46.
