Track & Field Wraps Up Gladstein Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Western Michigan track and field team wrapped up its first two-day meet of the season, competing at Indiana University's Gladstein Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Sophomore Erin Dowd's win in the open 400m run marked the top finish for a Bronco on the weekend. Dowd finished in an indoor personal-best time of 56.43 seconds to beat out Butler's Allie Vogeler by .07 seconds.

Fellow sophomore Gabrielle Collins continued her hot start, finishing third overall in the long jump. Collins fourth jump proved to be her best, reaching a distance of 5.
