KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan track and field team continues its trek through the Big Ten, heading to the Jack Johnson Classic at the University of Minnesota on Friday and Saturday.
In addition to the host Golden Gophers, the Broncos will also take on Marquette, South Dakota, Manitoba, Nebraska-Omaha, Iowa Central and the University of Chicago. The annual Jack Johnson classic honors the memory of Jack Johnson, Gopher equipment manager who passed away in 2006 after serving in his role for over three decades.
"We've seen a step up in competition every week," said head coach Kelly Lycan.
