KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan track and field team will host the Jack Shaw Classic on Friday at the Kanley Track & Field Complex beginning at 10 a.m.
WMU welcomes men's and women's teams from Central Michigan, Milwaukee, Purdue Fort Wayne and Trine. Admission is free.
It's just the third meet of the outdoor season for the Broncos, but several women on the team have already made an impact on the Mid-American Conference performance list, including MAC Championship automatic qualifiers in four events. WMU has two automatic qualifiers in throwing events, the javelin and the shot put.
