KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Time is winding down in the indoor season as the Western Michigan track and field team splits up this weekend and heads to the Grand Valley State Big Meet and the Iowa State Classic.
The Broncos are in the final two weeks of competition before the 2017 Indoor Mid-American Conference Championships at Eastern Michigan on Feb. 24-25. WMU will look to improve and gain MAC Championship automatic qualifying spots at Grand Valley and Iowa State.
Heading into this weekend WMU has qualifiers in two individual events. Freshman Madison Meredith is qualified in the 60-meter dash and holds the MAC's sixth-fastest time at 7.
