KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan track and field team makes the long trek to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the 2017 Crimson Tide Invitational, hosted by the University of Alabama on Friday and Saturday.
The Broncos will take on the likes of Kent State, Louisville, Memphis, Miami (Ohio), Missouri, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and the 17th-ranked Crimson Tide.
WMU will have a light day on Friday, beginning at 4:30 p.m., with just the hammer throw. Savannah Dugan, Samantha Howard and Brittany Casey will all have a crack at it.
