Track & Field Heads to Ball State Challenge

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's track and field team gets an early glimpse of the site of competition for the 2019 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships this weekend, traveling to Ball State University for the BSU Challenge on Friday and Saturday.

WMU will be one of 20 women's teams that will be competing, beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday. In addition to the host Cardinals, the Broncos will see MAC foes Bowling Green, Miami and Toledo in the field.

Friday's action consists of the hammer throw, discus and the 5,000-meter run.

In the hammer Western Michigan will field Wynn Stitt, Aniya Davis, Taylor Eaton and Audery Pickering.
