MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- The Western Michigan track and field team had another strong day, posting some more top-10 marks in program history at the Chippewa Challenge.
Soniya Jones tied the fifth best time in program history in the 100-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 11.87. That was good enough to win the event as well. Mimi Joseph was also in the event, collecting a time of 13.07.
Bri'Yanna Robinson was also special on the day, posting the eighth best discus mark in program history. Her throw of 47.
