AKRON, Ohio -- The Western Michigan track and field team continued competition at the MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at the University of Akron. The Broncos concluded the day with a variety of strong results, headlined by Maggie Raab earning a spot in the 800-meter run finals.
Raab took second place in her heat of the 800-meter run and finished fifth overall with a time of 2:13.25. That earned her an automatic qualifying spot in tomorrow afternoon's finals.
Lily Kucharek and Anichka Malachi were also impressive in their respective events, with both making the finals and earning personal best marks.
