SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- After some strong performances on the opening day of the meet, the Western Michigan track and field team continued to find success on the final day of the Meyo Invitational earlier today.
Anichka Malachi led things off with a 10th-place finish in the triple jump. She was able to post a mark of 11.91 meters. That is a top-15 mark in the Mid-American Conference this season.
In the one-mile run, Annalise James and Katelyn Spooner had strong outings, finishing 15th and 19th, respectively. The field consisted of more than 45 runners.
