BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- The Western Michigan track and field team finished up competition at the Indoor MAC Championships earlier today, where the Broncos were able to capture 11th place. Makayla Perez was a MAC champion in yesterday's 5K and Grace Johnson finished second in today's 60-meter hurdle finals.
The final standings: Eastern Michigan (89.50), Ball State (83), Bowling Green (74.5), Kent State (73.5), Miami (66), Central Michigan (53), Toledo (51), Northern Illinois (50.5), Buffalo (43.5), Akron (32.5), WMU (29) and Ohio (16).
On the final day of the MAC Championships, Johnson and Ahvon Mitchell stole the show in the 60-meter hurdles, with each of them now owning the top-two times in program history.
