COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Western Michigan track and field team closed out its regular season by posting some strong results at the Jesse Owens Classic, hosted by Ohio State.
The throws group had a great weekend, beginning with the shot put. Bri'Yanna Robinson finished second with a throw of 14.47 meters. Behind her was Tess Van Dyk, who collected ninth with a throw of 12.66 meters. Just behind her was Lane Hagens, who posted a mark of 12.29 meters.
In the discus, Robinson led the way again, notching a throw of 41.
