While in Boise, ID preparing for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, WMU Athletics announced Thursday that the university will be extending Tim Lester’s contract through the 2023 season. This extension is adding two years to a five year deal that is just two seasons through.
In those two seasons so far with the Broncos, Lester has accumulated a 13-11 overall record paired with a 9-7 MAC conference record. Lester led the Broncos to a 7-5 record this season and has his first bowl appearance with the Broncos this season as they take on BYU in the Idaho Potato Bowl.
