Eastern Michigan came back and defeated Western Michigan women's basketball 83-79 on Saturday afternoon at Read Fieldhouse.
Here are three takeaways from the game.
Field goal percentage
Western Michigan started off the first quarter with a poor shooting performance, only shooting 2-for-12 from the field and trailing 16-8. The second quarter was a different story as the Broncos picked it up on the offensive side of the ball, going on a 19-8 run to end the quarter and lead 31-29 at the half.
WMU continued shooting the ball more efficiently in the third quarter, going 9-for-19 from the field.
