STATESBORO, Ga. – The Western Michigan men's soccer team picked up its first road win and first Mid-American Conference victory of the season after a 3-0 win at Georgia Southern on Saturday night.
All three goals scored by the Broncos came in the second half, with Mike Melaragni, Eric Conerty and Charlie Sharp all putting the ball in the back of the net. WMU outshot GSU 10-6 overall with a 3-2 advantage in shots on goal.
After a scoreless first half Brennan Creek went deep into the left-side of the Eagles' box and sent a low cross into the middle.
