Steve Kerr and Luke Walton coached the Warriors to a 73-9 season in the 2015-2016 season, the single greatest regular season in league history – despite losing in the NBA Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers – but it was Jackson who was first pulled from the commentators’ booth to coach the team and changed the culture in Golden State and produced wins. His first season as Head Coach the team went 23-43 during the 2011 Lockout season, but the following two seasons the team went 47-35 and 51-31, reaching the playoffs in consecutive season for the first time in two decades.
