Graduating at 27 years old has not only given me great introspect into who’ve become since I started college nine years ago, it also provides many of my peers with the opportunity to call me an “old man.” Whether they’re mocking me or they’re genuinely just teasing doesn’t matter to me. What matters is that I came back at the right time and I succeeded.
I could say that my three years away from school are what helped drive me back to school. I had originally applied to Western in 2013 but was rejected because my grades weren’t good enough.
