KALAMAZOO, MI - After making a name for himself with an 89-tackle freshman season in 2016, Western Michigan strong safety Justin Tranquill has a new nickname going forward into the 2017 season.
"Coach Tranquill."
His new role comes after the redshirt sophomore suffered multiple ligament tears in his right knee while covering a punt in the second quarter against Michigan State.
