Swartz led the Broncos (2-4) in both categories, with the 20 points tying his career high and the nine boards establishing a new career-best. was also in double-figures for Western Michigan with 12 points.
Ohio State (5-0) started fast, taking a 15-4 advantage in the early stages of the contest. Western Michigan came back with a 9-3 stretch, closing the gap to 18-12 on the first of Swartz's four three-pointers. The next 17 points and 23 of the next 25 went to the Buckeyes, stretching the margin to 41-14.
