CLEVELAND – Western Michigan senior goalkeeper Stephanie Heber has been voted First Team All-Mid-American Conference by the league's coaches, as released by the MAC on Thursday.
Heber went 5-5-1 in conference play, only statistics from MAC games are considered during the voting process. The Rochester Hills, Mich., recorded four shutouts and made 50 total saves. Heber also posted a 0.98 goals against average.
She is the first goalkeeper to be named First Team All-MAC since Michelle Watson in 2013 and spent her career with the Broncos breaking several goalkeeping records. She leaves WMU with the record for minutes played at 6827:23, lowest goals against average in a season at 0.
