With Stefanick (9-8) on the mound, WMU took the first game of the series 15-3. The Broncos recorded 14 hits in the game, Stefanick providing three of them. She tied a career-high bringing in five runs on two home runs on consecutive appearances at the plate. Those dingers would give her her 11th and 12th home-runs of the year, breaking the school record. The previous record of 11 was held by Aspen Williams (2018) and Erin Binkowski (2016).
