Amongst the youngsters, sophomore Dawson DiPietro has made himself stand out, especially after the series against the Pioneers. DiPietro and Colt Conrad both scored in the final two minutes of the first game. Conrad tucked a rebound under the crossbar from fellow teammate Hugh McGing’s shot, and DiPietro scored the game-winner just fifteen seconds later to lead the Broncos onward to victory. DiPietro had his first collegiate three-point game, with two goals and an assist to account for. DiPietro played red-hot the very next day against the Pioneers as well, posting two huge assists in their 7-4 victory.
DiPietro, being a freshman this year, has a lot to look forward to within his hockey career, especially after looking at his previous statistics.
