Michigan jumped on the Broncos in the bottom of the first. The Wolverines took a 3-0 lead off a three-run pop over the right center wall. Starting pitcher Anissa Sanchez pitched a scoreless second inning before Michigan added four more runs in the third.
The Broncos loaded the bases in the bottom of the third as senior Kelsea Cichocki started things off by wearing a pitch with one out.
