CLEARWATER, Fla.- The Western Michigan softball team fell 3-0 to Penn State on the final day of the Clearwater Spring Break Invitational in Clearwater, Fla. The Broncos complete the tournament with a 2-3 record, moving to 5-16 on the season.
Western Michigan had three hits in Saturday's contest, a pair from senior and a double from in the second inning.
Penn State went up by two runs in the top of the first with runners on second and third base, sending a runner home with a sacrifice fly and bringing in another from a base hit.
