KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan's Audrey Smitek was named the MVP of the WMU Betsy Kuhle Invitational after the women's tennis team wrapped up the three-day invitational at West Hills Athletic Club on Sunday.
Smitek finished the weekend with a 3-0 record in singles play and also went 3-0 in doubles. In doubles, she was paired with Friday Weijerman. Weijerman was 2-1 in singles.
Graduate transfer Lola Glantz and freshman Marielou Baudouin were also named to the All-Invitational Team. Both went 3-0 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles play.
