Slukynsky Shines, Broncos Roll Over UMass Lowell

Hampton Slukynsky shined in net for Western Michigan, as they went on the road to sweep UMass Lowell on Friday and Saturday. WMU moves to 3-1 on the season and is ranked second nationally in the USCHO poll.

Slukynsky made 36 saves over two games, allowing just one goal as he ended the series with a shutout.

Game One

Game one was a white knuckle affair as the Broncos scored two early goals and worked their way to a 2-1 win.

Jamison Sluys got the scoring started early as he found himself behind the River Hawk defense.
