Skyy Moore was named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week after a huge performance in helping the Broncos defeat Buffalo Saturday.
Western Michigan football was in its first MAC contest of the season and having some ups and downs offensively, but Moore was consistent in gaining chunks of yards and helping WMU move the ball down the field.
Moore ended the game with 11 catches for a career-high 163 yards and the first multi-score game of his career. Moore now has three consecutive games with at least 10 catches and at least 100 yards receiving.
The first touchdown catch for Moore capped off the first scoring drive of the game as Moore was tumbling in the end zone and managed to hang on to the football in spite of a defender draped all over him and losing his helmet as he went to the ground.
