KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Six members of the Western Michigan Hockey team have been named American Hockey Coaches Association (ACHA) All-American Scholars for the 2017-18 season.
Sophomore Kale Bennett had a perfect 4.0 GPA for each semester in 2017-18. WMU
Kale Bennett, Scott Modlenhauer, Josh Passolt, Paul Stoykewych, Brett Van Os and Paul Washe all earned the prestigious honors. To be bestowed an All-American Scholar, a student-athlete must have attained at least a 3.6 GPA during each semester and have participated in 40 percent of the season's contests.
