The Western Michigan University athletic department announced on Friday, August 17, that some Mid-American Conference athletic events, including Broncos events, will be streamed on ESPN+, the new ESPN subscription streaming service.
The partial switch to the streaming service is part of the broadcast deal the Mid-American Conference has through ESPN that runs through the 2026-27 season. Certain events will also be broadcast on ESPN 2, ESPN 3, ESPN U, CBS Sports Network, and other regional outlets, according to the WMU press release.
Currently, three football games, including the rivalry game on October 20 at Central Michigan University, will be streamed on ESPN+.
