AUBURN, Ala., -- A school record nearly fell as the Western Michigan track and field team wrapped up competition at the Tiger Track Classic at Auburn University over the weekend.
Redshirt sophomore Gabrielle Collins produced the second-best long jump in program history to highlight the meet for the Broncos. On Friday, Collins finished third overall and jumped a distance of 19' 10.75" (6.06 meters).
"That's our first jumper over six meters in a while," said head coach Kelly Lycan.
