Samdal Tied for Fifth as WMU Sits Sixth After Two Rounds at the A-Ga-Ming Invite

KEWADIN, Mich. – After the first two rounds in the team's season-opening tournament, the Western Michigan golf team sits in sixth place at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational on Sunday.

The Broncos opened the day with a 311, but rebounded well in the second round to shoot a 298 for a 36-hole total of 609 (+33). WMU four strokes off of fifth-place Bellarmine and seven from fourth-place Green Bay. Western Michigan sits ahead of all of its Mid-American Conference counterparts, with Ohio in seventh, host Central Michigan in eighth and Eastern Michigan in ninth. Abilene Christian has a commanding lead after shooting a 571 (-5).
