KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's soccer team landed two student-athletes on the CoSIDA Academic All-District V team on Thursday afternoon. Alex Ruffer was named First Team All-District V and Maria Jaramillo was named Second Team All-District V.
Ruffer holds a perfect 4.0 GPA in finance and because she is a First Team selection, will move on for voting for Academic All-American. The senior forward started and played in all 19 games this season, scoring a goal and adding two assists as Ruffer joined her fellow seniors as just the second class in program history to reach double-digit wins all four seasons.
